DESCRIPTION

The project involved extensive alterations and additions to an existing Colonial style house. The additions included a new, expansive Kitchen, Family Room, Study, third car garage bay, Mud Room and Laundry Room, and Guest Suite on the Main Floor; a second staircase; Master Suite on the second floor; and a Game Room under the new Family Room. Comprehensive changes to the existing structure included reconfiguring various rooms to expand the Dining Room, add Bedrooms and Bathrooms and to create access to the new areas of construction; renovating all the existing Bathrooms; upgrading interior finishes and trim work; and underpinning the foundation along the rear to accommodate a high ceiling in the new basement area. The project was built in two stages, and is the winning outcome of successful Architect-Client teamwork and communication.
