DESCRIPTION

This project was our third Architectural journey with the Clients, and entailed the complete renovation of an existing Colonial style house. Torn between downsizing and staying in the neighborhood that they love, our now empty-nester Clients purchased a house around the corner from the one that we had renovated for them ten years before. They hired us for another total “gut and re-do,” including a new Master Suite addition over the existing garage, and reconfiguring various awkward spaces throughout the house. With the stage of their lives in mind, we persuaded our Clients to adhere to the concept of “less-is-more” and, as a result, successfully fulfilled their building program as well as their budget goals.
